Colorado football coach Deion Sanders revealed July 28 that he was diagnosed with bladder cancer and had his bladder removed

Sanders has dealt with a series of serious ailments in recent years due to struggles with blood clots. He underwent emergency surgery in 2023 to treat them in his legs, and prior to that, he lost two toes to amputation in 2021 because of those same blood clot issues.

The University of Colorado football coach plans to return to the field this fall after undergoing surgery to remove his bladder.
