By integrating Apple Pay into its Coinbase Onramp, Coinbase is providing third-party developers a way to integrate Apple Pay into other crypto wallets as well. Basically, Apple Pay isn't just available via Coinbase directly, but any existing product that uses Coinbase Onramp as well.

The integration means self-custody wallets and the like can now let users pay for crypto purchases with the popular app included by default on every iPhone.

Coinbase has integrated Apple Pay into its Onramp service, allowing users to purchase cryptocurrency through Apple's payment system while continuing to offer free USDC transactions and joining other platforms in expanding payment options for crypto purchases.
