Chestnut Ridge Landfill in Heiskell on the border of Anderson and Knox counties is temporarily closed after police say they found a body. Anderson County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the landfill at about 9 a.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of a "possible body" discovered at the Chestnut Ridge Landfill. According to a post on the sheriff's office Facebook page, the landfill on Fleenor Mill Road is closed while detectives investigate.

The Chestnut Ridge Landfill in Anderson County is temporarily closed as deputies investigate the circumstances leading to a body found at the landfill.

The Chestnut Ridge Landfill closed Wednesday morning after officers with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said they had possibly found a body on the premises.
