When "General Hospital" actor Johnny Wactor found three people trying to steal the catalytic converter from his Toyota Prius last May, one of the thieves yelled "No!" before his "hot-headed" companion opened fire, a detective testified Monday.

The surgeon general’s report said the lifetime risk of developing any alcohol-related cancer jumped to 19 percent (19 of 100 women) among those who consumed one alcoholic drink each day (seven drinks a week).
