WASHINGTON — President Trump offered up a tip for France’s first family to preserve domestic tranquility after his Paris counterpart Emmanuel Macron was publicly slapped by his wife Brigitte on a foreign trip earlier this week.

French President Emmanuel Macron's wife Brigitte appeared to push his face away as they arrived in Vietnam. An official in his office says they were just "decompressing."

Macrons parents were against their relationship and reportedly forbade them from seeing each other until Emmanuel turned 18.
