Former San Francisco Giants starter Blake Snell is joining the reigning world champion Los Angeles Dodgers on a five-year, $182 million deal, which he first tipped off on his Instagram late Tuesday night.

Blake Snell signed a five-year contract with the Dodgers with about $65 million deferred, which allows the team flexibility to sign additional players.

After one up-and-down season in San Francisco that included a no-hitter, Snell is heading to the Giants’ biggest rivals.
