Chelsea beat Aston Villa 3-0 on Sunday at Stamford Bridge as they underlined their potential as a legit top four contender. Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea were dominant from start to finish with Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez putting them 2-0 up at half time and Cole Palmer’s late stunner wrapped up the win.

The summit is still a fair way off but, if this rich vein of form is maintained over the hectic schedule this month, Chelsea will force themselves into any conversation centring on the Premier League title race.
