Mirra Andreeva capped a career-best week by capturing the biggest title of her career, defeating Clara Tauson to win the WTA 1000 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships on Saturday night.

No. 12 seed Mirra Andreeva became the youngest WTA 1000 champion since the format began in 2009 after defeating Clara Tauson on Saturday in the final of the Dubai Tennis Championships. Andreeva, who is 17 years and 299 days old, recorded six aces to post a 7-6 (1), 6-1 win over the Denmark native in one hour, 46 minutes.
