Following Thursday’s practice, Rodgers was asked if he believes Pittsburgh has a team built to make a Super Bowl run. He acknowledged that every team in the NFL is optimistic at this point in the offseason, but he genuinely believes this Steelers team can be special.

This wasn’t the Steelers start Aaron Rodgers likely envisioned. Pittsburgh’s new star quarterback was intercepted on his first throw Thursday at training camp in Latrobe, Pa., with linebacker Patrick Green picking off a pass intended for wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Pittsburgh fans had their first chance to see the team's new quarterback on the field Thursday. Aaron Rodgers wore a black-and-gold No. 8 jersey as the Steelers held the first open practice at training camp at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe.
