Can anyone comment on mosquitos in this area/trail? We are going in March, which should be dry season, but was curious about everyone’s experience both in wet and dry season
So anyone can drive themselves to the park entrance and then wait to join the main group to hike up Santa Ana which leaves around 11am? I'm planning to rent a car while I'm in El Salvador but I hadn't seen many posts from people driving themselves to make this hike, only taking buses from the town of Santa Ana.

Yes! We drove ourselves. I would get there around 10:45. I do hear the bus is cheap, but driving was no problem.
