Q:
So anyone can drive themselves to the park entrance and then wait to join the main group to hike up Santa Ana which leaves around 11am? I'm planning to rent a car while I'm in El Salvador but I hadn't seen many posts from people driving themselves to make this hike, only taking buses from the town of Santa Ana.
A:
Yes! We drove ourselves. I would get there around 10:45. I do hear the bus is cheap, but driving was no problem.
